Lavenham Players is a small amateur dramatic group based in and around the historic village of Lavenham.
We are enthusiastic about acting and performance, entertaining and producing great shows and having fun.

The committee is made up of people of all ages and and abilities, on and off the stage and we all share a great deal of acting experiences. We enjoy what we do, and we are always keen to welcome anyone who shares our passion for producing shows and entertaining.

Meet The Team
Paul Vella
Paul is our chairman and has been involved in theatre and acting for many years. He has performed in many of our productions and also at the Quay Theatre in Sudbury.
Cecil Qadir
Cecil is a member of our committee and has performed both with us and at the Quay in Sudbury. He has many talents on and off the stage, and is also directing plays for us.
Jacqueline Clarke
Jacqueline has been with Lavenham Players from the start. She has acted in numerous productions and is now our treasurer. She has been acting and performing from an early age.
Claire Weeks
Claire has recently joined our committee. She lives in Alpheton and is involved in helping with productions. Claire is an artist and is also Cordon Bleu trained.
Peter Day
Peter is the secretary. He has been involved with Lavenham Players since 2011. He has performed in many of our productions and also produces artwork and helps with tech.
